Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Tax Senior, you will play a crucial role in our team. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns (1120, 1120S, etc.) for corporations and partnerships.
2. Conducting research on tax laws and regulations to provide tax planning and consultation services to clients.
3. Applying your knowledge of ASC 740 and ASC 740-10 to prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions.
4. Assisting in the preparation and review of income tax disclosures for financial statement purposes.
5. Identifying, researching, and assessing various tax issues while also providing information to clients regarding the tax impact of business decisions.
6. Collaborating with team members to provide high-quality tax services to our clients.
7. Assisting with IRS audit defense including responding to IRS notices and drafting technical memos.
8. Staying updated with changes in tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Taxation or a CPA certification would be a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on tax- Large Corp.
3. Proficiency in ASC 740, Ccorp, 1120S, and 1120.
4. Strong knowledge of federal and state corporate income tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
6. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
