Job Details

Qualifications:

  • CPA license
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other related field
  • 5+ years of recent Public accounting experience
  • 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Strong organizational, research, analytical, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Responsibilities:

  • Train and Supervise staff; review and evaluate their work.
  • Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, real estate and exempt organizations.
  • Handle federal, state and local tax audits.
  • Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals.
  • Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements.
  • Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate basic knowledge of the client's businesses.
  • Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance and other documents for submission to the IRS or other taxing authorities.
