As a Tax Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing and managing the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
2. Leading strategic tax planning to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
3. Conducting comprehensive research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, especially those pertinent to the oil and gas industry.
4. Providing guidance and support on tax matters to other departments within the organization.
5. Collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate tax reporting.
6. Managing relationships with tax authorities and representing the company in any tax audits or disputes.
7. Developing and implementing tax strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
8. Providing expert advice on tax implications of business decisions and potential acquisitions.
