Job Details
Responsibilities include:
Qualifications:
4+ Years Tax Experience and a 5 Year Accounting Bachelors (CPA Eligible) or Associates Accounting Degree (Enrolled Agent with 5-7 years experience)
- Communication with owners, clients, and other team members.
- Interview/Onboarding of clients
- Preparation and review of complex individual and business client tax returns in Lacerte
- Advise Clients in Quickbooks/Quickbooks Online
- Tracking of time worked on all projects.
- Research and advise clients on various accounting/tax/business issues.
- Other office duties and projects as needed.
- Longer working hours are expected at certain times of the year.
Qualifications:
4+ Years Tax Experience and a 5 Year Accounting Bachelors (CPA Eligible) or Associates Accounting Degree (Enrolled Agent with 5-7 years experience)
- Strong Understanding of Lacerte tax software and tax code
- Proficiency using Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic knowledge of other online tools (Google Docs, Dropbox, Slack, etc.)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, complex tax code, and financial statements
- Maintaining and understanding the importance of client and practice confidentiality
- Be able to pass a background check
