We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned tax professional with a strong background in accounting and finance to make a significant impact on our organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in tax planning, compliance, and strategy. They will manage all tax-related activities, including preparation and review of income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. The Tax Manager will also be responsible for managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

- Lead and manage tax compliance, planning, and strategies to optimize efficiencies and minimize tax liabilities.
- Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide guidance on tax implications of business operations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with business objectives.
- Manage audits by tax authorities and negotiate tax positions with the IRS and state tax agencies.
- Provide tax advisory services to the management team and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the maintenance of tax records and manage tax risk.
- Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation and interpret their impact on the company.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Mentor and develop the tax team, fostering a supportive and high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified as an Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management with a focus on corporations and partnerships.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in tax planning and strategy.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
