Tax Manager

Growing firm is looking for a CPA Tax Manager skilled in corporate and personal income taxes. In this role you will offer proactive business advice to clients to guide them in managing opportunities and reducing exposure. You will also provide your ideas to leadership with with tax strategies, assumptions underlying budget forecasts, mentor and coach junior team members, utilize GAAP/GAAS, and softwares such as CCH ProSystem software

Reporting to the Head of Global Income Tax, our Income Tax Senior Manager will manage the compliance and reporting process for all U.S. jurisdictions, encompassing the process from estimated tax payments through audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of work experience in income taxation at a public accounting firm
• Solid understanding of ASC 740
• Solid understanding of U.S. corporate tax compliance
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and maintain large, detailed volumes of data
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills with the ability to adapt to change
• Strong work ethic
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license
• Master’s degree in Taxation
• Experience with tax provision, compliance, depreciation, and data manipulation software (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, SAGE, FMIS, OneStream, Alteryx)
