Job Details

  • Preparation, coordination, and timely filing of US consolidated federal income tax return, estimated tax payments, calculation and documentation of federal tax credits and inclusions such as research and development, foreign tax credits, foreign derived intangible income and global intangible low tax income inclusions
  • Preparation, coordination and timely filing of state and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments, state modification calculations, multi-state allocation and apportionment calculations, and calculation and documentation of state credits
  • Responsible for preparation and coordination of international tax filings including forms: 5471, 8858, 8865, etc.
  • Assist in developing and supporting responses to federal IRS audits requests and notices
  • Assist in developing and supporting responses to various state audit requests and notices
  • Assist in ASC 740 - Income Tax Accounting preparation of quarterly and annual tax calculations and related footnote disclosures to comply with U. S. GAAP financial reporting and SEC reporting requirements (10Q and 10K) including worldwide tax provision calculation, worldwide current year taxes payable/refundable calculations and worldwide deferred tax assets/liability calculations
  • Assist in analysis and disclosure of income tax risks (ASC 740-10) uncertain tax positions
  • Research and analysis of tax issues
  • Federal and State tax depreciation calculations for various subsidiaries
  • Assist in documenting Sarbanes Oxley processes and controls related to taxes and maintain related documentation
  • Participate in special projects, tax planning and assist with other tax compliance as needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements to facilitate streamlining and automation for tax compliance, reporting and planning
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by remaining current on existing and new tax regulations and communicate the impact of new tax developments
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor s Degree Required Accounting or related field
  • CPA or working towards CPA designation preferred
  • 2-4 years of tax compliance experience
  • Prior ASC 740 experience or knowledge preferred
  • Experience with OneSource RS tax compliance software or equivalent
  • Experience with BNA Fixed Assets software or equivalent
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically with managing large data within MS Excel
  • Previous public accounting or large corporate industry experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Strategic Thinking / Problem Solving Skills
