Tax Manager

We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our firm located near Miami, Florida. We are mostly remote. The ideal candidate must have a CPA and a Masters or Bachelors degree in Accounting. The candidate must have experience in tax accounting, estate tax compliance, tax compliance, and experience working with individual high income individuals. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about tax management and has the ability to work with partners and clients closely.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the tax compliance process for clients
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Work with clients to provide tax planning and consulting services
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Manage and train tax staff
• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and financial statements
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service
• Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Provide support to clients during tax audits

Qualifications:

• CPA with 5+ years of experience in tax accounting
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Experience in estate tax compliance, tax compliance, and client accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software
• Ability to adapt to changes in tax laws and regulations
