Tax Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and review of the company's tax returns, ensuring accuracy, timely submission and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct detailed tax research and analysis on various complex tax issues and provide clear, concise and practical tax advice.
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee tax accounting processes, ensuring the accurate reporting of tax-related financial information.
• Liave with external auditors and tax consultants, providing necessary information and answering queries to facilitate smooth audits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and regulations and ensure that the company is informed of any changes that may impact its operations.
• Provide tax advisory services to the senior management, advising on the tax implications of business decisions and strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with tax authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a CPA certification would be a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, tax research, tax preparation, and tax advisory roles, preferably within the finance industry.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret tax legislation and apply it to real-world business scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in the use of tax preparation and accounting software.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
