Job Details

Description
As a key member of our Tax team, the position will assume a strategic role in high level tax oversight, client relationship management, and team development. The primary day-to-day responsibilities may involve; tax planning, individual and business tax return review, building and maintaining local business professional network, strategic planning, engagement planning and oversight, quality control review, mentoring and training staff.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation and review of Individual, Partnership, Trust, Corporation and S Corporation tax returns
  • Assist with tax planning
  • Team oversight, training, and development
  • Networking with local businesses and community members
  • Oversees tax engagements
  • Participates and contributes to firm wide strategic planning and goals
  • Community business development
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Active CPA license
  • Minimum of 5 years of related public accounting experience
  • Proven leadership abilities

Qualifications
  • Proficient technical tax knowledge
  • Must enjoy "taking care" of their clients
  • Proven time and project management skills, able to effectively manage client relationships and workload
