We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our Accounting and Finance team. - Oversee all matters related to tax accounting and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare and review tax returns, including 1040, 1065, 1120, and 990 forms.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits.
- Maintain and update the company's tax database and prepare accurate reports for senior management.
- Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.
- Coordinate tax accounting to optimize tax strategies.
- Lead and guide a team of junior tax accountants and assistants.
- Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
- Work closely with auditing and financial team to ensure accurate financial planning and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a tax managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns, including 1040, 1065, 1120, and 990.
- Strong understanding of tax code, compliance, and procedures for corporations.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tax preparation tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of successfully managing tax audits.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Up-to-date with the latest developments in tax laws and regulations.
