Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Trust and Estate Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in trust and estate tax management and hold a CPA or EA certification. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of trust and estate clients, providing expert tax advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the preparation and review of trust and estate tax returns.
Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
Mentor and train junior staff, providing guidance and support.
Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
Qualifications:
CPA or EA certification is required.
Over 10 years of experience in trust and estate tax management.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
