Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Foster an open communication environment among staff to promote positive learning experiences.
  • Conduct technical reviews in areas such as partnership, corporate, and individual returns or estates.
  • Drive opportunities for staff learning and provide expert tax guidance to enhance their professional development.
  • Participate in and manage a diverse range of client engagements, including strategic planning, execution, and completion of tax projects.
  • Prepare and consult on client memorandum to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify operational and control improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to the training and development of staff members.

Background/Attributes:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent with a minimum of 24 credits in Accounting.
  • Possess an active CPA license.
  • Bring 10+ years of experience in providing tax consulting services to individuals, partners, and corporate clients.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to mentor staff and offer guidance to closely held clients.
  • Proficient in tax software (preferably ProSystem Tax), document management and workflow systems, time and billing software, CCH ProSystem Engagement, and Microsoft Office.
  • Embrace a mindset of continuous learning and a passion for sharing knowledge with colleagues and staff members.
