Job Details

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and trusts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring quality service delivery and timely communication
  • Lead tax planning and consulting engagements, particularly for real estate clients
  • Research and analyze complex tax issues and prepare technical memos
  • Oversee, mentor, and train junior and senior tax staff
  • Review workpapers and ensure compliance with firm procedures and tax regulations
  • Assist in practice development activities, including client proposals and relationship building
  • Stay current with evolving tax laws and regulations and communicate changes to clients and team

Qualifications
  • CPA license required
  • 5–8+ years of recent public accounting experience with a focus in tax
  • Strong experience with pass-through entities; real estate client exposure is highly preferred
  • Proficiency with tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx, UltraTax) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
