Tax Manager

We are looking to hire a Tax Manager to join our team!

Essential Functions:

• Working directly with clients to build and maintain client relationships, prepare business, non-business, and individual tax returns, and assist with tax return reviews
• Oversee multiple tax engagements to maximize profitability and efficiency
• Assist with tax return preparation, processing, and other accounting/consulting projects
• Mentor, educate, and train Senior and Staff level groups
• Familiarize with and adhere to relevant ethical requirements of the AICPA contained in the Code of Professional Conduct, the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy, and the Texas Society of CPA’s in discharging their professional responsibilities

You should know some of the following:

• Working knowledge of GAAP principles, accounting transactions, schedules, and financial reports
• Partnership Taxation experience required
• CCH Axcess software experience is a plus
