We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in managing and coordinating tax strategies for our business. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, working in a fast-paced, challenging environment where the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure is key. The Permanent Tax Manager will report directly to the Director of Tax and will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Tax Manager, your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing and coordinating all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for the organization.
2. Overseeing the preparation of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
3. Developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize cash flow.
4. Monitoring and analyzing changes in tax regulations and legislation to assess the impact on the organization.
5. Working closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
6. Providing expert tax advice and guidance to senior management and other stakeholders.
7. Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
8. Liaising with tax authorities and representing the organization in tax audits and disputes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you'll need the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree in Taxation or a related discipline would be an added advantage.
2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tax management, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. A current and valid EA (Enrolled Agent) certification.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and laws.
5. Proven experience in tax planning and strategy development.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax issues clearly and concisely.
9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in tax preparation and research software.
