We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our growing team in the Tax Department. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and planning, ensuring that our clients are in compliance with all state and federal tax laws. You will work closely with our finance and accounting teams, providing guidance and support on tax-related matters.

Responsibilities:

Supervises timely, budget-conscious client work
Applies creative thinking to address business challenges and team conflicts
Manages engagement, ensures satisfaction, and communicates upward
Nurtures client relationships, offering prompt responses
Understands client's risk tolerance and problem significance
Takes the lead in client meetings
Promotes firm services and proposes value-adding ideas
Researches book-to-tax differences, applies tax law, and uses tax planning concepts
Demonstrates strong grasp of tax regulations and industry trends
Reviews work papers, tax returns, and research findings in line with standards
Adheres to firm policies, professional ethics, and standards
Explores business growth opportunities and acts on them swiftly

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree required, Master’s preferred
CPA required
4+ years of tax experience is required
Comprehensive understanding of tax code/rules and implications
Experience preparing returns and researching more complex tax issues
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
