Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments, and information returns.
  • Lead and coordinate tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
  • Supervise and mentor tax staff, review their work for accuracy and completeness, and provide feedback and guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to stay abreast of changes and ensure the company's compliance.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and systems for tax planning and compliance.
  • Provide expert tax advice to company management and make recommendations on tax-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in ProSystems FX Engagement.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office suite and tax preparation software.
