Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimated tax payments, and information returns.
- Lead and coordinate tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
- Supervise and mentor tax staff, review their work for accuracy and completeness, and provide feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
- Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to stay abreast of changes and ensure the company's compliance.
- Develop and implement efficient processes and systems for tax planning and compliance.
- Provide expert tax advice to company management and make recommendations on tax-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience.
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP.
- Proficiency in ProSystems FX Engagement.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office suite and tax preparation software.
