Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the tax department to deliver top-notch tax services to our clients.
2. Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes.
3. Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive high-quality service delivery.
4. Advise clients on tax planning and tax issues associated with activities such as business acquisitions and mergers.
5. Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying new business opportunities.
6. Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and corporate clients.
7. Participate in the growth and development of our firm, including the training and mentoring of staff.
8. Keep up-to-date with changes in tax regulations to ensure the firm's compliance.
9. Collaborate with other departments within the firm to ensure the integration of tax services.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
3. Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting firm.
4. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
5. Strong technical skills in tax planning, consulting, and compliance.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
