Job Details

Currently they are looking to add a Tax Preparer/Bookkeeper who can work out of their office in Ozark, AL.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file both current and prior years’, multi-state and federal income tax returns, for individuals and businesses by the IRS-established deadlines
  • Use comprehensive tax knowledge to execute tax strategies and maximize any potential benefits and deductions
  • Prepare financial statements for business clients
  • Reconcile and verify accuracy of accounts
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with clients and team members to provide the highest quality of service to our clients and determine the best ways of addressing their needs
  • Communicate with clients and team members in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in public accounting and/or tax planning and preparation
  • 2+ years' bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of tax rules and accounting procedures
  • Knowledge of tax preparation software and QuickBooks
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and highly-organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
