Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Manage the review and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for partnerships, LLCs, corporations, trusts, and individuals in coordination with external tax advisors.
- Partner with fund accountants and portfolio companies to estimate taxable income and review tax distribution calculations.
- Oversee financial reporting, tax filings, estate planning, and ad hoc projects for high-net-worth individuals and family entities.
- Support transaction structuring and fundraising tax reviews.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to reduce liabilities across personal and entity-level structures.
- Coordinate with legal, trust, valuation, and accounting professionals to execute planning strategies.
- Monitor investment activity, including capital calls, distributions, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy.
- Manage and optimize use of investment tracking software.
- Contribute to budgeting, portfolio allocation, and cash flow planning efforts.
- Review Schedule K-1s and tax returns to ensure reporting accuracy before finalization.
- Handle tax notices, coordinate responses, and support tax audits.
- Review and manage PTET payments.
- Stay informed on changes in tax laws impacting individuals and entities.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of public accounting experience with either EY, Deloitte, KPMG, or PwC
- Experience working with High-Net-Worth clients
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA or CPA eligible candidates preferred
- Master’s in Taxation a plus
