Searching for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Senior to join our esteemed team in the Accounting + Finance industry. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, and engage in a variety of complex tax and financial matters. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an exciting, fast-paced environment and is eager to provide innovative tax solutions to our clients. You will be a key player in our team, helping us maintain our reputation for delivering excellent service and high-quality advice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate tax audits for clients, ensuring all tax returns are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of tax-related issues, including real estate tax, S Corp, C corp, partnerships, and more
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize clients' tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough research on complex tax matters and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored tax solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest tax laws and regulations and ensure clients are informed of any changes that may impact their tax obligations.
  • Assist clients with mergers and acquisitions, providing expert advice on tax implications and potential risks.
  • Provide guidance on insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, ensuring clients understand their tax obligations and options.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax role, preferably in a consulting or professional services firm.
  • Proven experience with corporate and HNWI, including real estate tax, S Corp, Corporations, C corp, HNWI, partnerships preferred
  • Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters in a clear and concise manner.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
