Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive tax planning and consulting services to a diverse client base.
2. Prepare and review complex tax returns for high net worth individuals, partnerships, and Corporations.
3. Research and consult on various tax matters; utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters.
4. Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities in a timely manner.
5. Manage client needs and expectations, deadlines, and deliverables.
6. Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior staff.
7. Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with both state and federal laws.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. Minimum 2+ years of experience in public accounting with a strong focus on tax.
3. Proficient in tax compliance, planning and consulting services.
4. Extensive experience with S Corp, High Net Worth, 1065 partnership, and 1120S.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage client relationships and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
7. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
