We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Senior Manager to join our growing Accounting + Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to leverage their expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the company's tax strategies, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and supervising the tax team. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
2. Manage and supervise the preparation and review of corporate federal and state income tax returns and estimates, and ensure timely and accurate filings.
3. Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including the determination and documentation of uncertain tax positions.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tax guidance and advice on business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
5. Manage tax audits and inquiries by various taxation authorities, and negotiate tax audit settlements when necessary.
6. Stay abreast of changes in federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, and assess their impact on the company's tax position.
7. Provide leadership, direction, and training to the tax team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate tax management, preferably in the Accounting + Finance industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, and experience with ASC 740 and uncertain tax positions.
4. Proven experience in tax planning and strategy development.
5. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.
8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
10. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical practices.
