Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to review and file federal (Forms 1065, 1120), state, and other returns for various entities within regulatory deadlines.
- Collaborate with Fund Accountants to analyze tax withholding on investor distributions and review investor tax forms (W-8, W-9).
- Partner with Investor Relations to resolve investor tax inquiries.
- Assist in estimating taxable income and reviewing tax distribution calculations.
- Support tax structuring for transactions and fundraising activities.
- Oversee compliance with FATCA, CRS, and other tax regimes alongside external advisors and fund administrators.
- Manage incoming tax notices and ensure timely resolution.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of Forms 1099 and 1042; monitor tax payments and refunds.
- Review Schedule K-1s and tax returns for accuracy prior to distribution and filing.
- Provide support during tax audits.
- Prepare filings such as use tax, property tax, business tax, and SIFL calculations for the management company.
- Review PTET payments, GP financial statements, tax returns, and quarterly estimates.
- Monitor tax regulatory updates impacting fund structures and management entities.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of public accounting experience with either EY, Deloitte, KPMG, or PwC
- Experience working with financial services or asset management clients
- Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA or CPA eligible candidates preferred
- Master’s in Taxation a plus
