- Display decision-making aptitude for common scenarios. For complex situations, present issues to supervisors or management and action based on their counsel.
- Adhere to timeframes for projects and guide junior staff to achieve goals punctually.
- Exude professionalism, showcasing confidence when interacting with team members and clientele.

- Undertake varied accounting and tax projects, collaborating with the supervisory team.
- Exhibit expertise in technical abilities, ensuring top-tier work quality aligned with the firm's benchmarks.
- Adhere to client-imposed deadlines.
- Engage in strategizing and timelining client projects.
- Guide and offer feedback to junior team members, ensuring premium work documentation.
- Document procedures followed and conclusions drawn during assignments.
- Engage in a comprehensive range of accountant duties, optimizing the involvement of senior management.
- Execute additional tasks, projects, and reports as assigned.
- Abide by and be well-versed in the firm's protocols and guidelines.
- Offer technical knowledge that can uplift and train junior accountants.
- Foster quality relationships with clients to ensure their trust and loyalty.
- Aid in structuring official training agendas.
- Nurture academic ties, actively participating in campus visits to onboard fresh talent.
- Cultivate professional connections and be an active participant in community organizations to broaden our reach.
- Strengthen ties with managerial figures by updating them regularly and being receptive to varied leadership approaches.
- Hone your expertise in the relevant IRC sections and regulations; spearhead tax return preparation projects and develop proficiency in tax research, familiarizing yourself with the firm's reference resources.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years in public accounting, showcasing an evolution in accounting responsibilities and tax acumen.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a valid CPA license or actively working towards securing one. If licensed, affiliation with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of CPA’s (where relevant) is desirable.
- Aptitude in computer operations and expertise in accounting/tax software applications.
