Job Details
- Tax Preparation and Review: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Ensure all filings comply with state and federal regulations.
- Client Interaction: Assist in managing client relationships, addressing and resolving tax-related inquiries. Provide high-quality customer service and maintain professional client interactions.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of tax code and regulations. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in legislation.
- Mentorship and Training: Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members. Help in building a knowledgeable and efficient team.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex tax issues. Provide innovative solutions and strategies to meet client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA or progress towards CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
