We are currently searching for a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Tax Senior who is ready to take their career to the next level. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services. You will be working closely with a team of dedicated professionals and using the latest tax software and technology to deliver excellent results for our clients.

As a Tax Senior, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
2. Utilizing your expertise in S/C Corps, Partnerships, Individuals, and 990 returns.
3. Assisting clients with tax planning and providing strategic advice to minimize tax liability.
4. Conducting tax research and staying up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations.
5. Assisting in the development of junior staff by providing them with training and guidance.
6. Collaborating with the audit team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
7. Using CCH ProSystem/Axcess Tax software to prepare and file tax returns.

Job Details

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role of Permanent Tax Senior, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is required.
3. Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a tax role within a public accounting firm.
4. Proficient in S/C Corps, Partnerships, Individuals, and 990 returns.
5. Experience with CCH ProSystem/Axcess Tax or similar tax software.
6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
9. Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
