Key Responsibilities
What We’re Looking For
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for a range of entities, including corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.
- Develop and review tax workpapers, projections, and supporting documentation.
- Provide advisory support to clients and their in-house accounting teams.
- Lead Client Accounting Services (CAS) engagements.
- Perform reconciliations and address tax-related general ledger accounts.
- Conduct tax research and assist with regulatory compliance.
- Respond to audits and notices under the guidance of senior personnel.
- Contribute to special projects involving tax planning, process improvements, and systems implementation.
- Stay informed on tax law updates and industry standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or EA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in tax preparation and advisory services.
- Experience in tax return review and direct client engagement.
- Familiarity with Thomson Reuters software (preferred), QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines.
- A collaborative approach and a reputation for professionalism.
