Qualifications:

• CPA eligible or already possess CPA license
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or other related field
• 2+ years of recent Public accounting experience
• Strong organizational, research, analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
• Sound GAAP knowledge

Responsibilities:

• Prepares both simple and complex individual and business tax returns
• Researches tax questions and studies tax laws for potential tax savings
• Manages one or more client engagements simultaneously, ensuring overall success of each project
• Establishes work schedules through effective use of project management skills
• Drafts client reports and other client communications
• Actively advises, trains and coaches team members, while also providing consistent recognition and feedback to team members
• Provides timely feedback to Managers when preparing performance evaluations of staff accountants
• Contributes to internal committees and seeks projects when available
