We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Senior to join our thriving finance team. If you are passionate about the finance industry and have a knack for navigating complex tax codes, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring tax engagements and providing tax planning services to our diverse client base. This is a full-time role that requires a deep understanding of Individual, Partnership, S Corp, and High Net Worth tax regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review complex tax returns including Individual, Partnership, S Corp, and High Net Worth clients.
2. Conduct detailed tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities and identify potential tax savings opportunities.
3. Provide innovative tax planning strategies and compliance expertise to clients; manage to budget.
4. Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
5. Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business and process improvements and serve as a business advisor to clients.
6. Identify and mitigate tax risks.
7. Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance.
8. Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
9. Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
10. Manage and coordinate tax audits.
11. Prepare all tax paperwork in accordance with regulations and deadlines.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in public accounting or other relevant experience.
3. Proven experience as a tax senior, with a strong understanding of Individual, Partnership, S Corp, and High Net Worth tax regulations.
4. Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
5. Proficient with tax software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
6. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
7. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
8. Analytical skills with detail orientation.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
10. Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment.
