We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tax Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Tax Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and providing financial reporting support. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, experience with tax preparation and compliance, and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
• Assist with tax audits and other tax-related issues
• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
• Prepare electronic payments and e-filing of tax returns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in tax accounting
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
• Experience with tax preparation software such as CCH or ProSystems
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
