***This is a hybrid role and will be based in Indianapolis. The successful candidate should be able to commute to the location or be open to relocation***
The Tax Director of Tax Strategy is an important role and will be responsible for leading and taking charge on tax matters as they relate to business development activities. This individual will provide support for corporate transactions & deals while also helping with foreign country tax audit support related to those transactions and deals.

The Tax Director of Tax Strategy is an important role and will be responsible for leading and taking charge on tax matters as they relate to business development activities. This individual will provide support for corporate transactions & deals while also helping with foreign country tax audit support related to those transactions and deals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tax leadership with advice associated with the business development activities such as mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, licensing, integration, etc.
- Work effectively with economists, lawyers, and accountants on matters related to business development and foreign tax audits.
- Partner with corporate tax affiliates on local country tax issues.
- Lead process to document tax implications surround divestitures, including transaction documentation, tax positions, transfer pricing documentation, and tax audit defense files.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with leadership.
- Support other business development needs as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPA and/or JD
- 5+years income tax experience
- Background working on business development-related tax matters, transfer pricing, and legal entity structuring.
- Excellent tax planning and research skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
