As a Permanent Tax Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your expertise in tax returns, tax planning, GAAP, GAAS, tax preparation, tax review, and other key areas. You will be responsible for managing tax compliance for HNW (high net worth) individuals, estates, trusts, gifts, S-Corps, and partnerships. You will also be involved in strategic tax planning and advising clients on tax implications. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field.

As a Permanent Tax Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. You will be responsible for managing tax compliance for HNW (high net worth) individuals, estates, trusts, gifts, S-Corps, and partnerships. Responsibilities:
- Supervise prep and review the preparation of federal and state tax returns for individuals, trusts, gifts, partnerships, and SCorps.
- Provide tax planning and consulting to our firm's high net worth clients.
- Manage, direct, and monitor multiple client engagements as well as serve as a business advisor to the client.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks.
- Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance.
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Prepare all tax paperwork in accordance with regulations and deadlines.
- Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A CPA, Enrolled Agent, or membership of the Bar is preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in public accounting or related field.
- Proficient in tax compliance and planning for high net worth individuals, estates, trusts, gifts, SCorps, and partnerships.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and tax preparation software.
- Excellent analytical and time management skills.
- Strong supervisory experience.
- Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Analytical skills with detail orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with tax software and technology.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
