Team Lead (Quality & Production)

Based in the Buffalo, NY area we are a reputable and fast growing food and beverage manufacturer looking for an experienced Team Lead to support our production and quality control teams. . Must have shift flexibility and strong leadership skills. We have immediate needs on 2nd and 3rd shifts, but candidates need to flexible to cover other shifts as needed.

• Responsible for leading and supervising all product quality including testing of incoming materials and ingredients
• Ensure all personnel is adhering to and achieving goals for production, lead times, product quality, and safety
• Responsible for leading and supervising QA/QC associates
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Report and correct any potential hazards on designated shift and area
• Assist in training and development of all new and existing team members.
• Monitor attendance and productivity of all team members
• Perform annual personnel reviews

Qualification Requirements:

• 2+ years of Quality Lead or Supervisory experience within manufacturing environment
• HS Diploma/Equivalent or AAS Degree
• Knowledge and experience of testing equipment
• Previous experience in food/beverage or packaging environments is a plus
• Strong problem solving and people management skills
• Strong computer skills including MS Office
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
