- Aluminum Flat Roll Process
- Leadership / Management
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use expertise to prioritize and implement strategies for better production and quality.
- Investigate issues and downtime to make process improvements.
- Help overcome obstacles to keep projects on track.
- Collaborate with others to find lean/process improvement opportunities.
- Educate and mentor employees on improvements.
- Prioritize projects and drive improvement using Six Sigma methods.
- Set goals for projects and hold teams accountable.
- Share productivity ideas across the organization.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BS in Quality, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or Process Management preferred.
- 5+ years experience as a quality/process engineer in manufacturing.
- Experience in rolling and flat sheet metal production required.
- Familiarity with coating and finishing metal processing preferred.
- Proficiency in statistical and process control tools.
- Proven project management success in industrial settings.
- Blackbelt certification preferred.
- Ability to understand and write technical procedures with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills.
