A bit about us:
We are looking for a part-time temporary laborer or technical specialist to aid the lead technical specialist in visual inspection of water service lines and laterals from the period of October 14, 2024, to December 13, 2024. No work shall take place on Veterans Day, November 11, 2024, nor will any work take place between November 25 – 29, 2024

Job Details
This position assumes a candidate will be available the following times and days starting October 14, 2024, ending December 13, 2024: (hours may vary slightly)
Mondays 10:30 – 5pm
Tuesdays 8:00 – 5pm
Wednesdays 8:00 – 5pm
Thursdays 8:00 – 5pm
Fridays 10:30 – 5pm
Typical duties include walking, bending over, squatting, lifting meter box lids, clearing debris inside the meter box, visual inspection of water pipes, taking a photograph of the pipe, written documentation of the pipe material, location, etc. utilizing a pen and clip board. Onsite training will be provided during the first day of work.
Physical Demands:
· Travel for extended periods of time by car.
· Ability to lift 20lbs or less
· Sitting, squatting, standing, and walking for long periods of time
· Use of office equipment, i.e., computers, phone equipment, etc.
· Hearing and vision within normal ranges with or without correction
Minimum Requirements
Ability to read and write, type data into an excel sheet
Good oral communication skills
Positive Attitude
Ability to learn new skills rapidly and respond well to a variety of personalities.
