Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Provide first-line technical support to users experiencing difficulties with IT hardware, software, and network systems.
2. Manage and maintain the Active Directory, including user account creation, deletion, and configuration, password resets, and troubleshooting.
3. Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, software, and equipment.
4. Participate in the planning and implementation of IT projects, including system upgrades and new system deployments.
5. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of system availability and reliability.
6. Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedure manuals to ensure efficient operation of systems and equipment.
7. Collaborate with other IT team members and liaise with vendors for problem resolution.
8. Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems and software.
9. Adhere to and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in the Manufacturing space or related industry.
2. Extensive experience with Active Directory, including user account management, group policy configuration, and troubleshooting.
3. Strong knowledge of IT systems, software, and hardware, including servers, workstations, network equipment, ticketing software such as ServiceDesk or similar.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
6. Experience in planning and implementing IT projects.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
8. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
9. Relevant professional certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, are an advantage.
