Job Details

What you will be doing:
* Develop, write and assemble high quality, easily understood, installation, operation, and maintenance manuals for new and existing equipment for all product lines, for shipment with equipment including technical specification sheets for each piece of equipment rented or sold.
* Coordinate and review manuals with project personnel to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
* Consult with Engineering, Laboratory, Service, and Manufacturing groups to ensure accuracy in written materials and Engineering drawings.
* Provide illustrations/photos for use in manuals, derived from engineering drawings, photographs, and vendor information.
* Coordinate with the Service group for repair parts orders that require bill of material updates, material certification, vendor information, or updated manuals.
* Prepare copies of existing manuals to fill customer requests.
* Maintain baseline documentation and maintain revision control of publication baselines.
* Serve as a resource for the department in providing information/guidance with respect to CE, material certification, and translation requirements.
* Examine Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to define product line changes or needed project updates.

What you will need:
* Excellent grammar, writing skills, English
* Capable of interpreting electrical schematics
* Capable of interpreting mechanical schematics
* Knowledge of desktop publishing, graphic layout, and design
* Fast typing, excellent computer skills (knowledge of directories, folders, file manipulation, etc.)
