We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Technology Business Manager to join our forward-thinking technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all technology-related business matters, ensuring the efficiency of business operations and boosting company profits. This role is integral in setting the strategic direction for technology within the business, managing budgets, and ensuring that the technology-related projects align with the business's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement technology strategies that align with the business's goals and objectives.
Manage the technology budget, making sure the resources are used efficiently and effectively.
Oversee all technology-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems and equipment.
Identify opportunities for technological advancements that can improve business operations and increase profits.
Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements.
Provide leadership and direction to the technology team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Ensure technology-related risks are managed and mitigated effectively.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure technology solutions meet their needs and add value to the business.
Qualifications:
Bachelors-level degree in Finance and Accounting or a related field
5+ years experience in IT Finance or a TBM-related role
Experience in Technology Accounting, GAAP, strategy advisory, FinOps, IT
Proven experience Management consulting or IT Data Analytics
Ability to work with minimal supervision efficiently and effectively with multiple levels of management and staff across the organization, particularly within the Technology and Finance organizations
Proven experience working with IT services and financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations for chargeback, benchmarking, service costing and service pricing
Advanced analytical skills with financial, cloud data and the ability to summarize data quickly and accurately
Experience with M365 Suite including PowerBI
