We are on the hunt for a dynamic, detail-oriented Consulting Temporary Litigation Legal Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal assistance to our team of attorneys, focusing on all aspects of litigation cases. This is a temporary position with the possibility of permanent placement based on performance. You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to our mission of providing exceptional legal services.

Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Temporary Litigation Legal Assistant, you will be expected to:

1. Assist in the preparation of legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence
2. Manage all aspects of the litigation process from initiation to discovery to resolution.
3. Conduct thorough case research to ensure accuracy in all legal proceedings.
4. Utilize eFiling systems to accurately and efficiently file court documents.
5. Coordinate and schedule court depositions, hearings, and other meetings.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court officials.
7. Maintain organized case files and track deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
8. Assist in the preparation and review of billing statements.
9. Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing attorney calendars, and handling office correspondence.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar role in the legal field.
2. Proven experience with eFiling systems and other legal technology.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
7. Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
8. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
9. An associate degree or higher in Legal Studies or a related field is preferred.
10. Paralegal certification is a plus.
