We are seeking a temporary Payroll Specialist to work out of our Palm Springs/Palm Desert office. This role is responsible for a broad range of administrative support duties related to the Payroll departments mission to support the health system and our employees.

- Processes semi-monthly payroll
- Collects and process timecards
- Collects and process daily reports
- Distributes all signed checks as required
- Maintains accurate mailing and distribution list
- Files and stores all internal reports
- Tracks employee receivables, loans and garnishments
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior
- Matches invoices to receiving documents
- Posts invoices into the computer
- Sorts all Payroll and Vendor checks
- Maintains all account payable reports, spreadsheets, payroll reports and other files
- Verifies cash and sales
- Assists in monthly closing
- Performs filing, copying and scanning of accountings records
Requirements:
- 6 Months to 1 Year+ Experience as a Payroll Specialist or related experience
- NetSuite Experience is a MUST
