We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven Permanent Territory Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong sales background in the paper, packaging, or corrugated field. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success by driving sales strategies, closing new accounts, and growing sales volume.

Responsibilities:

As our Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives. You will be tasked with identifying potential new accounts, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and closing deals to grow sales volume. A key part of your role will be to maintain and grow existing customer relationships while seeking out and developing new ones.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Creating and implementing strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the territory.
2. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
3. Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
4. Negotiating and closing agreements with large customers.
5. Meeting and exceeding sales targets on a consistent basis.
6. Providing regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of direct selling experience within the paper, packaging, or corrugated field.
2. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
3. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone.
4. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Strong verbal and written communications skills.
6. BS Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
7. Proven track record for closing new accounts and growing sales volume.
8. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
9. Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
10. Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
11. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
12. Excellent time management and organization skills.
