Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a 12-week rolling travel calendar, with 60–75% travel expected, primarily Tuesday through Thursday, including occasional weekends for events and trade shows.
  • Conduct a minimum of 120 scheduled meetings per quarter, including at least 15 in-person and 25 virtual meetings per month.
  • Build and execute annual sales plans with quarterly updates on performance, focusing on new sales opportunities, contract renewals, and gross margin growth.
  • Drive multiyear contracts, develop profitable product mixes, and coordinate with finance, pricing, and vendor teams.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales and Vendor teams to generate leads, develop regional markets, and grow customer accounts.
  • Provide strategic input, technical expertise, and product recommendations as a consultative partner to clients.
  • Record all activity and manage pipeline through CRM systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to ensure satisfaction and meet custom QBR (Quarterly Business Review) goals.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and complete required sales and product training.
  • Handle complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across D&H, customer, and vendor teams.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience in regional IT channel sales, with at least 2–3 years in outside sales.
  • Has to have managed at least 40 accounts in the field
  • Experience with the Distribution industry is not negotiable. Distribution, Vendor or Reseller required.
  • Solid understanding of IT solutions (networking, data center, security, client devices, and software).
  • Familiarity with key vendor relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
