Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Support hands-on test operations, including the fabrication and assembly of electro-mechanical Ground Support Equipment.
2. Conduct testing of development and flight hardware to ensure optimal performance and compliance with all safety standards.
3. Document and record specialized test set-up configurations to ensure consistent and repeatable test results.
4. Utilize various test equipment, such as DMM, oscilloscope, etc., to assess and improve product performance.
5. Use various hand and power tools, such as drill, calipers, etc., to perform necessary adjustments and modifications.
6. Work with electrical components and systems, ensuring their proper installation and functionality.
7. Perform soldering tasks as required, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the aerospace or space industry.
3. Hands-on experience in the fabrication and assembly of Ground Support Equipment or similar.
4. Demonstrated experience in testing development and flight hardware.
5. Proficient in documenting and recording specialized test set-up configurations.
6. Experience using various test equipment, such as DMM, oscilloscope, etc.
7. Skilled in using various hand and power tools, such as drill, calipers, etc.
8. Solid knowledge and experience working with electrical components and systems.
9. Proficiency in soldering, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
