Job Details

Responsibilities:

As an Environmental Test Technician, you will play a critical role in our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Perform environmental testing of aerospace mechanisms using established procedures. Tests include static load, thermal vacuum, benchtop operation, separation, shock, and vibration
2. Inspecting mechanical and electrical components after test completion to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
3. Assisting with non-conformance investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
4. Utilizing common aerospace assembly and inspection tools such as torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
5. Assisting in writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing, ensuring clarity and comprehensibility for all team members.
6. Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the aerospace or engineering industry.
2. Familiarity with common aerospace assembly and inspection tools, including but not limited to torque wrenches, load cells, feeler gauges, calipers, and multimeters.
3. Proven experience assisting with writing technical work instructions related to Environmental Testing (preferred).
4. Experience working in an Aerospace cleanroom environment is preferred.
5. Understanding of advanced electronic circuitry.
6. Experience using electronics equipment (e.g. DMMs, power supplies, DAQs, etc.)
