Job Details

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8 hour day rounding

Qualifications:
  • Board-eligible or board-certified in thoracic surgery
  • Extensive experience in a surgical practice setting, including general thoracic, esophageal, and pulmonary/cardiac thoracic surgery
  • Exhibits expertise in a range of minimally invasive thoracic surgical procedures
  • Demonstrated experience with robotic procedures

Experience:
  • Esophageal and lung experience is a MUST
  • Experience performing surgery to repair a damaged esophagus, open or remove a tumor in the chest, repair a lung affected by a tumor or cancer, or reconstruct a breast after cancer

Setting:
  • Level 1 trauma center, a certified stroke center, a chest pain center certified with PCI, and sepsis center.
  • Residencies include general surgery, internal medicine, orthopedics, ENT, and family medicine.
  • The OR has large operating suites including a year-old Seimens hybrid operating room and the cardiac catheterization lab has a dedicated peripheral suite


Support staff:
  • 1 Advanced Practice Provider for the office and 2 separate Advanced Practice Providers
