We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the manufacturing process, has a keen eye for detail, and has a strong understanding of metalwork, aerospace, and tool design. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and repairing tools used in the manufacturing process. This role is integral to our operation, ensuring that our production lines run smoothly and efficiently.

As a Permanent Tool Maker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, manufacturing, and repairing a variety of complex tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes according to specified blueprints and drawings.
• Conducting tests and inspections of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures to ensure that they are functioning optimally and in accordance with design specifications.
• Performing regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance, identifying and rectifying any issues promptly.
• Keeping accurate records of tool usage, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring that all relevant documentation is updated and maintained.

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Tool and Die Maker position should have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience with tool making, metalwork, aerospace, tool design, tool maintenance, and blueprint reading.
• An in-depth understanding of the manufacturing process and the role of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures within this process.
