Job Details

We are seeking to hire an experienced and highly skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, repairing, and modifying custom-made, prototype, or special tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, dies, molds, and assemblies using various types of metals, alloys, and plastic materials. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:

  • Design and construct various types of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies, or assemblies.
  • Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut, bore, grind, or otherwise shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes.
  • Troubleshoot and repair tooling problems as they arise, implementing solutions in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker in the engineering industry.
  • Proficient in metal stamping, progressive die, AutoCAD, and blueprint interpretation.
  • Completion of a Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship or equivalent combination of education and experience.
