As a Tool & Die Maker for our established manufacturing company, you will be an integral part of our team with over 100 employees.

With over 50 years in the industry, we are known for creating custom-made products, prototypes, and special tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges with precision and excellence. As part of your role, you will be responsible for making, repairing, or modifying these items to very specific dimensions. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 45-55 hour work week. Overtime pay is available, with 41-48 hours earning time and a half, and 49+ hours earning double time. Base pay will range from $24 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Tool & Die Maker, your responsibilities will include:
  • Creating, repairing, or modifying custom-made products, prototypes, and special tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to very specific dimensions.
  • Collaborating with our team to understand specifications and project requirements.
  • Utilizing knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ensuring all products meet our high-quality standards and are completed on time.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Assisting in the training and development of junior staff members.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Tool & Die Maker position will possess the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker or Toolroom Attendant.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Experience as an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience would be a plus.
